1. Who provides the service

In these terms, "we" means MAXNOVA & LUCI Global LLC and "you" means the person using MOY IQ.

2. Scope

These terms apply to your use of MOY IQ (moyiq.app and app.moyiq.app, including the installed app) and to the Pro subscription. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law of the country where you live.

3. Nature of the service

MOY IQ is a tool for organizing, tracking and learning about your finances. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for the decisions you make based on what the app shows. MOY IQ is not a financial, tax, accounting or investment advisor, and not a bank, financial institution or regulated entity. Its projections, calculations and signals (including MOY IQ Coach) are indicative and based only on your data.

4. Account

You need a free account (email or Google) to use the app. You are responsible for the security of your device, your account and your license key. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account or by writing to support@moyiq.app.

5. Plans and licenses

Starter (free): a non-exclusive license for personal use, at no cost and with no time limit. It does not allow professional use with clients, redistribution or handing the app to third parties.

Pro (monthly or annual subscription): everything in Starter plus the Pro features, including Advisor Mode. Pro allows professional use of MOY IQ with up to 30 clients while the subscription is active. It does not allow reselling the software, sharing the license key or sublicensing. Details per plan are in the License terms.

6. Prices and taxes

Pro costs US$4.99 per month or US$39.99 per year, in US dollars, charged in advance at the start of each period through Stripe. For consumers in the European Union, the listed price is the final price, with any applicable VAT included. Elsewhere, taxes may apply depending on your location; where they apply, they are shown on the checkout page before you confirm. Your bank may charge fees for payments in a foreign currency.

If we change the Pro price, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies. The new price applies from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then at no cost.

7. Automatic renewal and cancellation

Pro renews automatically at the end of each period (every month or every year, depending on the plan you chose) and the then-current price is charged to the same payment method until you cancel.

How to cancel: online, at any time and without talking to anyone, at moyiq.app/en/cancel.html. You can also cancel instantly in the Stripe customer portal, signing in with the email of your purchase. You can also write to support@moyiq.app. We confirm the cancellation by email.

Effect: cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid; until then you keep Pro access and you are not charged again. After that, or if a renewal charge can't be processed, the account moves to the Starter plan with no data loss.

Reminders: on annual plans we email you before each renewal with the date, the amount and how to cancel, and at least once a year we remind every subscriber of the price, billing frequency and how to cancel.

Refunds: there are no partial refunds for unused time, except (a) under the technical guarantee in section 9, (b) under the right of withdrawal in section 10, and (c) where mandatory law in your country requires one. For example, for consumers in Germany, once its first year has ended the annual plan can be cancelled with one month's notice and the unused prepaid portion is refunded pro rata. Renewal and cancellation terms may vary by jurisdiction where local law requires it.

8. Free trial (if offered)

If we offer a free trial of Pro at any time, these conditions apply, in addition to any shown before you sign up:

• It lasts 14 days from when you start it, and a payment method is required to start. Nothing is charged during the trial.
• Unless you cancel before it ends, on day 15 it converts automatically into a paid Pro subscription and the plan you chose is charged (US$4.99 per month or US$39.99 per year), renewing automatically under section 7.
• About 3 days before the trial ends we email you the date of the first charge, the amount and how to cancel.
• You can cancel at any time during the trial, using the same methods as in section 7, and you won't be charged.
• One trial per person. The technical guarantee in section 9 runs from the first charge.

9. 14-day technical guarantee

If, within 14 days after purchase (or after the first charge, if you started with a trial), you have a technical problem we can't help you resolve, we refund the full amount. Write to support@moyiq.app. The guarantee does not cover your financial decisions or data loss caused by not having a backup. It is in addition to your legal rights and does not limit them.

10. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU, EEA and UK)

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can withdraw from the Pro subscription within 14 days after signing up, without giving a reason, by writing to support@moyiq.app (a clear message is enough, for example: "I withdraw from the MOY IQ Pro contract concluded on [date] with the email [email]"). We refund all payments within 14 days at the latest, to the same payment method. If you expressly asked for the service to start during that period, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service already provided. Withdrawal is different from cancelling an ongoing subscription.

11. Local data and backups

Financial data is stored on your device. Unless you turn on the optional encrypted sync, we don't store it and can't recover it (with sync on, we only store a copy that your device encrypts before uploading it). It can be lost if you clear your browser data, switch devices without exporting a backup, uninstall the app or reinstall your operating system. Export backups regularly from Settings. See the Privacy Policy.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MAXNOVA & LUCI Global LLC is not liable for financial decisions made based on the information MOY IQ shows; for data loss caused by clearing the browser or other local causes; for indirect, incidental or consequential damages; for interruptions caused by third parties (hosting, browser, etc.); or for calculation errors caused by incorrect data you entered. To the same extent, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for MOY IQ in the 12 months before the event. These limits do not apply to intent, gross negligence or injury to life or health, or to the extent the law of your country does not allow them.

13. Intellectual property

MOY IQ's code, design and content, and the rights to the MOY IQ and MOY IQ Invest trademarks, belong to MAXNOVA & LUCI Global LLC. The license does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

Part of MOY IQ's code and text is written with the help of artificial intelligence tools. MOY IQ Invest newsletters are written with AI assistance from market data, may contain errors and say so in every issue. The site's typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 (license text).

14. Permitted use and breach

You agree not to use MOY IQ for illegal or fraudulent activity or to evade tax or legal obligations, and not to share or redistribute your license key. A serious breach of these terms or of the license terms may lead, after notice where reasonable, to revocation of the right of use. To use MOY IQ beyond the limits of your plan, write to support@moyiq.app first.

15. Availability

MOY IQ is a Progressive Web App that works offline once loaded. Sign-in, plan validation and sync require a connection. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability of the hosting service.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Changes are published on this page with the date of the update and, if a change materially affects you and you have an active subscription, we email you in advance. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change applies.

17. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, have jurisdiction over any dispute, although either party may bring a claim in small-claims court. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you habitually reside, or of your right to bring proceedings in the courts where you live where that law guarantees it.
